People are always in a hurry, especially on the internet. If your web site doesn't spark their interest immediately, they're outta there. Keep your web site simple, easy to read and easy to navigate.

Make the lanuage simple, especially on your home page. Don't use long-winded technical terms, use layman's terms.

Aim low and expect your visitor to be the lowest common denominator of your entire audience. Did I say that politically correct enough? Your visitor may know little about your subject matte, your wesite, the Internet or even computers.
